**General Description**
Position Summary This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and communicating business plans and process development directives to vendors, customers, and internally supported teams for furtherance of Retail support and initiatives. This position will develop Retail business plans, monitor program execution, conduct analysis of program results, as well as provide internally supported teams with actionable insights. This position will report qualitative and quantitative analysis on all sales transactions that take place in retail locations where Samsung products are sold. This position will manage forecast and budgets for retail operations and marketing.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Common Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct regular meetings both with internal teams and with vendors to maintain continuous improvement of processes and procedures to further Samsung efficiency and capabilities in retail sales. Ensure available of retail support of both product launch as well as scheduled and unscheduled retail projects. Conduct analysis of data and provide monthly and weekly reports on retail activities. Work directly with retail sales upper management to address concerns and to direct standard operating procedures related to supported retail activities to ensure timely remediation of obstacles to current business plan objectives. Prepare and manage to program budgets. Draft and submit internal funding requests through Samsung's proprietary systems. Develop and manage Samsung personnel to assist and support in all of the foregoing. Background / Experience Bachelor's Degree with 4-7 years of directly related experience is required. Master's degree preferred. Experience should include telecommunications industry or Retail industry experience, and also experience in effectively using a variety of PC applications methods, including word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments, product launches, and projects. Skilled in developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company to promote financial results. The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects of own initiative. The ability to read, interpret, and present financial documents, media materials and contracts (or related information) to team members. Demonstrate competency in persuasive communication skills using both oral and written modes for internal and external personnel at all management and staff organizational levels to achieve budgets and to communicate technical information. Numerical accuracy (prices, product details, etc.) in all customer and internal communications where errors will result in crucial financial consequences to the company. The ability to work independently and determine personal work schedule to be productive. The ability to accept tasks and problems/situations that differ, requiring creativity to develop solutions to accomplish the desired goal. The ability to utilize implied knowledge of task alternatives and to make decisions using past experience and the guidance and/or successful experiences of others. Provide guidance, direction, training, and coaching of less experienced team members and direct reports in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames. Interact with all levels within the organization and has frequent external contacts. Physical / Mental Demands & Conditions Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include printers, copiers, faxes, and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel is required monthly. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
