Business Analytics and Communications Manager
**General Description**
The Analytics and Communications Manager is the focal and control point for all analytics and communications activities that occur within our National sales team. Analytic and Communication responsibilities include: Finance and Execution - providing YoY/Monthly/Weekly Sales Reports and analysis, Weekly team and executive dashboards, Monthly PM Updates cross categories per retailer, Actual versus Plan tracking cross categories by retailer, seasonal reporting on promotional sales Marketing Analytics - ROI, Trends, and Seasonality insights on all promotions, competitive landscape analysis, manage basket and traffic analysis Communication Management - Samsung Electronics Corporate and Americas Leadership meeting preparation; and misc. as required. This position will support the following categories: - TV and DAV - IT including Tablets, Displays, PC, Monitors, DI and Memory & SSD, Mobile ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All analytic and communications responsibilities within the West Region sales office structure including: Financial management (by category by retailer), Strategic Initiatives, Program management, Execution analysis and ROI Management, and Annual Sales Planning actual versus plan. Activities have a direct impact on both Sales revenue and profitability within the assigned team. Position will also maintain strong relationship with Samsung Sales team, Marketing, Executive management and Finance to provide simulation reports for each of the responsible categories to provide the following details: - Plan, Build and Track the performance on new/existing skus across Samsung product families - Sales reporting and analytics to Sales for review weekly - Interface with corporate executive team on critical Regional and Retailer related reports - Build and manage dashboards that create visual and impactful data points on business performance - Identify new opportunities in store/club and online that drive sales - track business trends and seasonality - Engage with Samsung peer retailer teams to identify best practices as well as demonstrate what is working well on assigned platforms - Collaborate with Sales on strategies that improve reporting and ease tracking rigor
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
College degree (BS/MBA) with 6-10 years in Business, Marketing, Finance or related experience Consumer Electronics industry computer proficient including excellence in MS Office suite (Power Point, Excel, Word etc). General knowledge of product life cycle planning and marketing/media asset creation is preferred. Skill Base should include strong communication, detail orientation, organization, and ability to work with executive levels of management both within and outside of Samsung. Negotiation skills, Financial Analysis, Program Management and Process Improvement experience preferred
